I love the Whaley family! They just have so much love for each other and it radiates through each one of them! Here are some favorites from their Daffodil Field shoot!

Bowes girls in the Daffodills
These sweet little fairies landed in the daffodils and stuck around to take some beautiful pictures! Enjoy these beautiful girls!

Daffodils 2011
An amazing thing happens in a little field off of Old Tar Road in Winterville every year. A little area that, at any other time of the year, you'd drive right past it. But for just a few short weeks every year, the most BEAUTIFUL daffodils bloom! It causes such a craze that people travel from all around to take pictures in the "Daffodil Field"! It's such a fun time for everyone, especially photographers, because we get to offer mini-sessions in places like this daffodil field! This year was no different, and I had a ton of beautiful children and families to capture in this beautiful area! I will share, in separate posts, some of my favorites from the "Daffodil Field 2011"
Beautiful Hannah
Beautiful, big sister, Sarah
Lora and her mom...so beautiful!
I love how in love they are!
Baileigh turned 2!
Exactly one week after we came home from my brother's wedding in New Orleans, my baby girl turned TWO! I can't believe how quickly time has flown! I originally wanted to do a princess themed party since she's ALL about princesses, but because we had just come from NOLA, I decided we should do a Mardi Gras themed party instead!
We had a TON of friends over and had so much fun! My mom made the most delicious shrimp 'n grits for the adults to eat, my friend Laci came over and helped me make a King Cake for Baileigh's birthday cake...it turned out better than I could have imagined! And to top it off...it was so warm, I had the doors open and a sleeveless shirt on...in JANUARY! It was so different than her 1st birthday when it snowed so badly that we had to postpone her party until the next weekend!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from her party. My dad has them on his computer and one day when I remember, I'll get them off and post them. But, I did take her outside and do a quick little shoot w/ her birthday shirt made by my cousin's wife Amber of MoJo's Boutique (look her up on Facebook), and I had to show her mask and fun little accessories that we gave to all of her guests. Before I know it, she'll be 3! I can't believe it!
PARTY!!!
Oh and this was the fun coloring sheet I made for all the kids to color their own mask! So fun!
Bear and Belle got married!
So...another fun thing that happened this past year was my brother got married and I FINALLY have a sister! I love my brother and sister in law and just wish they could be closer! Chelsea (Belle) is from Louisiana, not super far from New Orleans, so when they chose New Orleans as their wedding location, I was thrilled! Not only because I got to see them, but because that was Baileigh's (my daughter) first flight and Johnny's (my husband) first trip down to NOLA. I did not shoot this wedding...I was in it, along w/ Johnny and Baileigh (she was one of the flower girls). She did a decent job, considering she was exactly one week before turning 2! The photographers who shot the wedding did a fabulous job, but before they got there, there were a few moments that were worth capturing! Fortunately, I had my camera and was able to capture these memories for them! I wish I had taken more pictures, but it was so crazy, there wasn't much time! Enjoy!
Thanks to Claire, my little Baileigh FINALLY got a little nap!
Sweet Dakota, Baileigh's buddy and fellow flower girl!
Our view from our hotel!
The view from the opposite direction...this is the cathedral where they got married! How gorgeous!
Chelsea opening her gift from my brother.
Flower Bomb....smells sooo good!
Reading the letter he wrote...
I'm surprised she could read his writing! (I have to joke on my brother)
One of my most FAVORITE shots! Look at these sweet tears of joy after reading my brother's letter to her!
However the makeup can NOT be ruined! =)
Chelsea's sister Cayla to the rescue!
One more of sweet little Dakota! She was so precious!
Jordan in the snow!
So...again, I know it's summertime and so to see a picture of snow, you're probably thinking "What in the world?" Well...if you read the post before this one, you'll see how I am a horrible blogger, but I'm trying to do better. So...to become a better blogger, what better way than to catch everyone up with all of the many shoots I've done since my last post! And what better way to get started than by showing some pictures of my friend's daughter, Jordan.
Jordan is a super fun ray of sunshine and that sunny personality was needed on such a cold, but fun snowy day! Here are a few favorites from this little impromptu shoot in my yard! Enjoy!

I am the absolute WORST blogger EVER!
Alright guys and girls...
It's ridiculous how bad I am at blogging. I have sooo many sessions I want to share, so I'm going to do a small post for each session I've had since my last post. So bear with me! Here I go!!!
